6 leadership inspirational sources for the Christmas time

by Marlene König | Dec 10, 2019 | Leadership Impact

Christmas ball

Another year full of new experiences and learning is coming to an end. Christmas is already waiting around the corner and we’re right in the middle of the (hopefully) most reflective and calmest time of the year. The smell of hot punch and roasted chestnuts fills the streets, in the evening wonderful lights are brightening the first Christmas trees and there probably isn’t anything cozier than getting yourself inspired surrounded by candlels, Christmas cookies and the soft shine of Christmas lights.

Today we brought 6 inspirational sources to read, listen to or watch with us for you to start into 2020 with fresh energy, power and inspiration. Let’s bring you as a leader further on your development journey!

Watch: Productivity Rockstars

Marilena Maris

Especially around Christmas, the need for silence and reflection is high. Still, what can you do when all our great tools just won’t let us come to rest and in contrary even steal time? Why aren’t we more satisfied even though we have uncountable gadgets and experience increased Burn-Out rates?

In her key-note from the Agile Leadership Forum 2019 powerwoman, coach and leadership trainer Marilena Maris gives answers to these and other questions and shows, how your start into 2020 can come off with great productivity and success.

Watch: Denzel Washington‘s motivational speech 2019

Denzel Washington

The gist of this speech is to create awareness about what really matters day by day in your job and private life. There is no passion to be found playing small and settling for a life that’s less, than the one you are capable of living.” (Nelson Mandela). Nothing in life is worthwhile unless you take risks. If you want to proceed in life, you have to accept falling, although this means falling forward because you learn from your mistakes and come out of them even stronger.

He mentions: “If I am going to fall, I want to fall forward”. It’s about passion, taking chances and not being afraid of making mistakes, thinking out-side-the-box. Mistakes are unavoidable and the belief in yourself is very crucial.

Unbelievably fascinating and motivating to watch!
